Am I correct in that this software does not record the password keystrokes if they come up on the screen as an asterisk?
If this does not, do you know of a program that does this for Mac?

This is because a Mac OS secure issue.

I’m looking for way to somehow read cleared logs of MSN/Azureus.
Not those that have already been cleared but those that will be cleared on future.
Like if I say something to someone with Azureus (Messenger program) and then clear the conversation logs, how can I somehow get that conversation still stay in my computer?

I have been an avid reader for some time but I have a question. The kids all have computers now (we all have macs) and I was wondering if there was a way to check up on them every once in a while. I am suspecting foul play on my machine, and need to monitor what it’s being used to - so wondering if anyone can recommend a keystroke logging program - I’ve never used one before, so unsure whats out there.
I guess what I would like it to do is:
Record accurately what is typed on my keyboard.
What time it was typed.
and if possible in what program.
It should also do this in the background - and NOT alert the user that it’s active.
Guess thats about it - unless theres anything else I should know……..

I’m doing some consulting for someone and they would like a program instaleld on their iMac that can log what their kids are doing on the computer. I’ve installed software like this on the PC before for windows called eblaster. The program will monitor everything that is done on the computer and then e-mail it to their parents. Is there anything like this for the mac. I don’t necessarily agree with montioring people like this but I guess the customer is always right.
This software is what i need and i like it very much.

Does anyone know of a good keylogger for mac that will record all passwords used such as ones for myspace, hotmail etc. I ask because Im pretty sure my girls doing the dirty and the only way to find out is when she uses my Mac.

I’ve seen the demo’s at the Mac Keylogger website and I’ve one question: why is it so complicated to register an email to which the emails with the logs are send?
I’m using gmail and don’t know how to set the stmp server / port etc.

Why does the MAC version not record passwords in safari? The whole point of purchasing this was to be able to record that data. The fact that it does not record passwords is not even disclosed in your ads for the PerfectKeylogger. There is a fix, right? Otherwise I’d like my money back.
Its a great program, with great interface and the email notification is wonderful… but the passwords are a necessary piece of data for any keylogger.
